THE original. You fly over the continents with a trusty hover car and blast buddies away with your hi-tec lasers. (Well, not very much.) I'll never tell anyone that believing there must be DEATHSTAR I have been continually dying in outer space. Serpent Isle of VII-Part2 was called 'Lands of Danger and Despair' at this time. |
|
| Revenge of the Enchantress You fight against Minax on Earth and over time. It's absolute nessecity to steal, rob and murder. And you will be the nicest person in the world in IV. Just say it's human beings that's not predictable. | |
Exodus You form a party and go outside, dig into dungeons and dive to whirlpool upon the quest for marks, cards and Mystics. Elements of real puzzles or mysteries appeared in pure might-is-right design. (It's my opinion.) It was GOLD, though, that bring you to dungeons deep. You'll meet Time Lord again in VII. |

| The Quest of the Avatar Sensational opening of the Avatar Trilogy which requires you to be ultimate good man/woman. It was my first Ultima experience run on NEC PC-9801 machine. After that, I was simply hooked. Do you remember the relation between eight virtues and three principles? I do. | |
Warrior of Destiny Dark and omnious fifth of the series. Most loved by majority barring IV. Very rich lively world and feeling of pressure come from being wanted and confrontation of Good and Evil impressed me. You'll face a severe decision between betraying your advisor and letting them kill one of your friend when caught in The Castle of Lord Blackthorn. The right choice is, to tell the truth, your party member will be killed anyway. Bah. |

| The False Prophet Not only the system leaps forward, the depth of scenario is far beyond previous Ultimas. The world becomes vast and very interactive. In the beginning you are orderd to stop the Gargoyles threat. As you reveal the mysteries, it come to the ultimate goal that you must let human and gargoyle co-exist in peace. But it's a life if you prefer mining gold lode. | |
